Time is a thief, our babies grow up too quick and are forever changing. Family portraits are a celebration of your loved ones, they truly tell a story and capture everyones emotions and connections. Remember why you are booking in the first place – it’s not the Instagram post, it’s not the matching outfits, and it’s not for anyone else except you. Well, and future you, too! It’s a great excuse to clock some proper quality time together as a family.

Family snuggles, shoulder rides, quiet words, scrunched up nose smiles, dizzy wizzys - give me it all! - My approach is to offer gentle direction, that will result in candid natural photo captures.

Introduction

All outdoor photographic experiences are based around the soft golden light, which is achieved one hour before sunset. This time can vary throughout the year depending on the hotter/cooler months. Time will be confirmed with you within two weeks of your chosen session date via email.

All indoor sessions are morning sessions done in my own home (here) when the morning sun is beaming through the windows. I have a beautiful styled bedroom, baby beanbag, wraps, blankets, outfits etc all ready. These are 'lifestyle' home sessions, not studio sessions.

Preparation

After we have confirmed your session date I will email through your booking link which includes my photography contract, invoice and a short questionnaire for you to complete. This allows me to get to know you better to make sure I tell your story authentically and select a location based on the vision you have for your photos.

All photographic experiences will come with pre-shoot wardrobe and location guidance. The wardrobe plays a big part in the overall look and feel of your images, so its important to get it right. You have the opportunity to use my client wardrobe if desired or please visit my Wardrobe Guide (here) for additional guidance.

Logistics

A non-refundable booking fee of $100

is required at the time of booking to secure your chosen date. This booking fee is inclusive in your package price.

Booking fee can be transferred to another date if contract terms and conditions are met.

Your chosen package total remainder (minus the booking fee) will be due 7 days before your booked session date. Payment plans can be arranged.

Delivery

After your session you will receive your very own online private gallery of all hand crafted images within 3 weeks, where you can view and personally select your most precious collection of images, all edited by myself with love.

You will have the option to purchase additional digital images, your entire gallery and/or professional prints/ and frames via my online store direct from your gallery.
